MV Grid Monitoring

With recent breakthrough, Paktim is proud to work with our strategic partners in bringing the latest patented technology for MV grid monitoring. This grid monitoring system is based on advanced optical sensor technology and is specifically developed for the cost levels expected in distribution networks. The Current Sensor monitors the current amplitude and the phase angle on both the LV and MV side of the grid.

The system delivers a cutting-edge monitoring and control equipment together with integrated supervision, which enables the modern electrical utility to prepare its existing power infrastructure for tomorrow's SmartGrid. The system uses world-leading technology to merge existing and new power infrastructure into the existing SCADA and IT systems of the electrical utilities. The integration of the upgraded power infrastructure and IT systems instantly optimizes outage and fault management that will decrease the Customer Minutes Lost (SAIDI). At the same time, this integration will help the electrical utility to further improve the following:

• Power Management - resulting in high-performance Outage Management and high power efficiency.
